The Art of Fashion
If you haven’t had an Italian affair yet, it’s time you go to Florence. That’s where we start our journey. Through Italy and in true Italian style.
We chose Firenze as starting point of our journey as it is a great example of past and future, with its enduring elements of true luxury, as opposed to the fleeting world of fast fashion.
In the city center it’s like taking a leap into the past, with streets still named after the ancient textile trade (like Corso dei Tintori, ‘Dyers Avenue’) and Medieval palaces. One of them is today the home of Salvatore Ferragamo fashion museum, a must-see for all the shoe lovers, while in another old palazzo in Piazza Signoria there is the Gucci Museum.
Florence is the birthplace of many other popular powerhouses as well, such as Roberto Cavalli, Ermanno Scervino and Emilio Pucci, who created the look known as ‘casual elegance’, that would later become the Italian ready-to-wear.
But what we are here for is a new designer who took luxury to the next level.
Luigi Giannetta Firenze is a luxury fashion designer in love with timeless beauty and ultimate perfection. He created an iconic line of ultra-luxury alligator bags, handcrafted from the most precious exotic leathers by Florentine master artisans. Elegant, chic and ultimately perfect, his bags are not for everyone. They are designed for few sophisticated ladies and can be customized with the owner’s initials in gold.
Each one an exquisite and unique piece of art.
