Shipping time: our products are made-to-order therefore each item has its own production time. Estimated delivery time of each product is clearly stated in each product page in the section Delivery and has to be referred to as guidelines. Italian Affair is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
Shipping destinations: Italian Affair currently delivers only to the UAE. For any other country, please send an email to email@example.com with your request. Italian Affair www.italianaffair.ae will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.
Shipping fee: Italian Affair delivers from Italy to the UAE for a fee of 200 AED, offering FREE delivery for orders above 1000 AED. Duties, taxes & handling in UAE are all included in the item price.

Insurance: your parcel is insured during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. A signature is required for every delivery and it is at this point where the responsibility for the goods delivered is passed to the consignee.
Shipping documents for exotic leathers: shipments from ITALIANAFFAIR.AE that contain an item made with exotic leather, endangered animals or plants, or any other material included in the Washington Convention, destined outside of the European Union by law require an extra document called C.I.T.E.S. (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). This document acts as a passport for the item and explains that the item comes from an animal that was either farm raised or caught in the wild specifically for commerce. For more information please see: www.cites.org. In Italy the documents are issued by Corpo Forestale dello Stato, the Italian C.I.T.E.S. Management Authority, and normally take 14 days to be processed, but unforeseen delays are possible. The merchandise will be shipped as soon as Italian Affair has received all necessary documentation.
Shipment Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking code, so that you can monitor your delivery.
Multiple shipments: may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
Customs: all import duties, customs fees, taxes and handling are offered complimentary and included in the item price. For the UAE only. For any other country, the buyer may be subjected to import duties and taxes, payable once the parcel reaches its destination.
Return Policy: Italian Affair complies with the return policy of each designer. For the return policy of each product, please check the Delivery & Return section in the product page.
Items that are made-to-order and customized are not eligible to return and exchanges. If it is stated that the item is eligible to return, you can return it within 14 days from date of receipt: contact our Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org and notify your intention to return. Please include the Order Number, item(s) code(s) and reason for return. The item must not have been worn, washed or damaged, it has to be in the same conditions as it was received, appropriately packaged in its original box and with its own tags. Return costs are beared by the customer.
If you are returning items to multiple designers, please ensure you create a return request for each designer and pack each return separately. Once the designer has checked the item and approved the return, we will send you an email confirmation and will then proceed to refund the credit card with which the payment has been made (refund will be made within 30 days, or in line with the credit card policies) deducting the shipping costs.
All items showcased are of the highest quality and go under a strict quality control process before being shipped, but in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect you can request a complimentary return providing photo of the defect. Once approved, you can return it within 14 days and the return shipment is complimentary on behalf of the manufacturer.
